December 13th from 5:30-9:30pm check out the Festival of Lights at Olde Mistick Village. Walk through a winter wonderland with more than 4,000 luminaries light the walkways along with entertainment and refreshments throughout the evening.
Santa’s Workshop at Wickham Park. They have been welcoming people since 1981 to their log cabin in Wickham Park. Bring the children to visit with Santa and their elves and Mrs. Claus. Open Dec. 13 thru Dec. 23, 3-6pm during the week and 1-5pm on the weekends. http://www.wickhampark.org
Winter Fun Fest- December 14th at 11am. Located at Porter and Chester Institute-132 Weymouth Rd., Enfield, CT. The family friendly event is open to the public. The event will have free photos and visits with Santa, holiday arts and crafts, holiday refreshments, and more.
Winter Solstice/Yule Celebration-December 13th 6-8pm. Located at Stained Glass Creations and Beyond, 69 Main St. Stafford Springs. A free event open to the public. Food, fun and spirit. Tarot card readings, Henna and bring the children to meet Frosty the Snowman.
