Mother’s Day: Mom Our Super Hero

happy mother's dayIt’s that time of year again, when we stop and realize just how important mom is in our lives.  What would we do without mom?  She’s done so much for us over the years, made us who we are. Given us the courage, motivation and strength to tackle anything we want in life. We shouldn’t wait for just one day a year to recognize all the things Mom does.  We should be thankful and appreciate our Mother’s each day. We take this one day a year to really show our love, respect and admiration.  For many of us it’s a time of remembrance of our mothers who have passed on, but continues to live on within us each day.

As a child we always had special ways to show our moms just how much we love them.  Remember writing poems for your mom as a child?  We came across some great poems written by children that we wanted to share with you.  As your read these you’ll see the innocence of each child written in their words.  Maybe a simple poem can say it best.  We wish each and every mom a wonderful Mother’s Day and thank you for all you have done for us through our lives.

Mommy, I Love You – Anonymous

 Mommy, I love you

For all that you do.
I’ll kiss you and hug you
‘Cause you love me, too.
You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile ’cause I love you
On this Mother’s Day.

I love you mummy

Mum,
Now that I’m grown up enough for the most beautiful of all the mothers,
I offer you these flowers, but also hearts and small homemade butter cakes.
I shall be as good as gold and no more tease my little brother like I did yesterday.
On your tender cheek, I lay down a huge kiss.

Mom Like an Angel Poem

Mummy,
My mummy is like an angel.
She is as smooth as my dolly.
My mummy wants me to see her.
My mummy, I love her and I love her all the time.

Happy Mother’s Day

That’s a beautiful poem. I had a wonderful day with my mom today on Mother’s Day–there’s nothing like the feeling you get spending time with someone you really love. It makes life worth living.
