Main uses:
1. Pharmaceutical intermediates: They are important intermediates for the manufacture of a variety of anti-ulcer drugs, such as potassium cyanamide and ranitidine. Cysteine is removed from cells and used in the treatment of nephrotic cysteine disease; cysteamine can be used to detoxify. It can relieve toxic symptoms such as thallium and tetraethyl lead (especially neurological disorders); it can be used to prevent and treat radiation syndrome caused by X-ray or other radiation energy.
2. Pesticide intermediates: Cysteamine is an important pesticide intermediates, because it contains active sulfhydryl and amino groups, it is commonly used in pharmaceutical, pesticide, cosmetics and other industrial production intermediates.
3. Feed additives: CS and CSH are ideal substances for reducing somatostatin level, promoting digestion and metabolism, and promoting animal growth. It can be used as a growth promoter in livestock and poultry production. CS used in feed has the advantages of no species specificity, suitable for production and application, wide application range and low cost.
4. Cosmetics field: CS and its hydrochloride CSH are the intermediate materials of some cosmetics, and also a reductant for cold curls. It breaks the sulfur bond in hair, reduces the dermatine to L-phenylalanine, softens the hair, fixes the curling deformation with the curler, and then oxidizes the curling agent to make it softer and achieve better curling effect.
